Equip Expo 2022 used to be called GIE + Expo. While Equip Expo is the best trade show for the landscaping industry, we’ll also tell you about other trade shows happening in 2023.
What is a Trade Show?
According to Shopify.com, a trade show brings together industry folk, such as the green industry. Not only are there landscaping technicians and lawn care operators, but there are also dealers, exhibitors, and other experts in attendance.
At Equip Expo 2022, you can meet other landscapers and test-drive new equipment before you buy it. The Outdoor Demo Yard has 30 acres to allow you to “test before you invest” in any gear.
Here are other activities that you’ll experience at Equip Expo 2022:
- Exhibit space where different companies will be displaying their products and equipment
- Educational sessions where you can increase your knowledge and possibly earn certification or licensure
- Networking events like Trace Adkins performing at the Equip Expo Concert Series at Fourth Street Live and the UTV Test Track.
You, as a landscaper, benefit from any green industry show, in addition to Equip Expo 2022, because you get to rub shoulders with other landscapers and lawn care operators, you participate in seminars, and you can test new equipment. Plus, you’ll have fun throughout the day and night.
Gearing Up for Green Industry Trade Shows in 2023
After Equip Expo 2022, you may want to attend other green industry trade shows. For example, at the Kentucky Exposition Center right after Equipped Expo 2022, Hardscape North America runs from October 20-22, 2022.
The last three trade shows for 2022 include:
- Tree Care Industry Association Expo from November 10-12 in Charlotte, NC
- 2022 ASLA Conference on Landscape Architecture from November 11-14 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA
- Two Irrigation Show & Education Weeks by the Irrigation Associationwill meet in December. From December 5-9, the trade show will be in Las Vegas, Nevada, and from November 27-December 1, the 2023 Irrigation Show & Education Week will be in San Antonio, TX.
