Description
Featuring a powerful 12 volt DC motor protected by and mounted with corrosion-resistant stainless steel, the S80-12010 is equipped to both perform and protect from the hazards of the job.
The motor is mounted outside of the large hopper to allow for more material, and delivering a true 120 lb. capacity, helping you get the job done quicker with fewer refills. This electric spreader comes standard with a Variable Speed Control—mounted conveniently within arms reach—which controls the spread swath, up to 16 feet.
The Spyker electric lawn spreader’s hopper gate control is operated by foot pedal when mounted on a ZTR mower. Otherwise, an 8 foot cable (optional) can be utilized for a gate control on an ATV or UTV. The length of wiring from the variable speed controller to the motor is 160” (13.3 feet), and the length of wiring from the variable speed controller to the battery is 80” (6.7 feet).

Purchased Pro series electric spreader this spring. Mounted on my Walker mower. best thing I purchased in my years of lawn care business, over the years I have purchased 5 spyker spreaders. Excellent products, well built.

This spreader has saved us so much time being able to spread fertilizer with our zero turn. I would recommend this over any other type in this category.

I have used my Spyker Pro series for the past several years. I use it with my electric ATV or my John Deere Gator. It is simple to use, reliable, and consistent in its seeding rates and coverage. I have used it for grass seed, food plot seed, and fertilizers. I plant 15-30 acres per season and the plots look amazing. I have used many types of seeders and my favorite by far is the Spyker. I recently purchased another farm in Ohio and I will purchase a second seeder there as well.

I debated back and forth about buying this spreader for a couple years. I finally bought it and have been nothing short of amazed! I have owned several different brands of spreaders, and Spykers are built very rugged and much better than others.
This electric spreader has saved me so much money on labor costs it has paid for itself. Not to mention, my guys are not worn out from pushing a spreader all day.
The quality of any Spyker spreader speaks for itself. You can spend less money on a spreader that will only last you a year or two, or you can buy a Spyker for a little more and it will last you for YEARS!
This spreader has been a game changer for us, don’t wait like I did. Buy it and reap the benefits!

I have used 3 of these for years commercially. I have the ones with the foot opener mounted on a cart attached to a grasshopper mower.
The only issue I have with them is the plastic “Dial Mount” does break. So I always have extra mounts on hand. I have found that putting zip ties around the mounts will extend their life significantly

Have adapted mine with the Spyker hitch/bracket for use on the front receiver of our Ventrac tractor. Purchased about two years ago and used several times to spread pelletized lime, multiple types of dry fertilizer, mixed wildlife food plot seed (big and little seeds) and ryegrass seed. Have to be careful with the pelletized lime – that stuff clumps up very easily and does not flow quite as well – certainly not the fault of the spreader. The quality and operation of the spreader is excellent – I clean it up with a little spray tank cleaner and lots of water and it looks as good today as it did brand new. This is a quality tool which has completely met our needs.

Mounted this on the back of my Kubota RTV and can easily fertilize a 20+ acre community in a single day. Life saver, and way cheaper than buying a large ride-on spreader

I use one of these on the Walker Mower. What a great piece of equipment. This thing is built to last forever. Very smooth operation. I’m impressed!
