Lawn Rollers
- What types of jobs is the lawn roller good for other than rolling lawns?
The Lawn roller may be useful in other areas than just lawns. The lawn roller can be helpful with sod as well as some soft surface application. The lawn roller should not be used on gravel lest the rocks puncture the polycarbonate shell.

- My roller has a dent/ is warped. Is there anything I can do to fix it?
Yes! The roller drum if formed with a “memory” to hold its shape. Simply remove the plug, empty the roller drum and set it in direct sunlight, with the flat spot up. The heat from the sun will expand the roller drum and it will go back round.
Note: If the unit does not reform immediately, be patient. Slowly rotate the unit over the course of a day or two to remove the flat spot.
- Do you offer different types of plugs?
Yes, over the years Brinly Hardy has used 3 different types of roller plugs. Our current iteration of plugs comes with a tether/chain so that you never have to worry about losing your plug again. To purchase this plug, head on over to the parts store to pick up a #1019524.
- Do I need to drain my roller before storing?
Yes, you will need to drain the roller completely and store it without the plug-in place. Changes in atmospheric pressure will cause the unit to warp if the plug is left in for storage.
- Can I fill this product up with things other than sand?
You can fill the roller with sand, small gravel, or event cement. Please note that doing so voids the warranty and Brinly will not cover damages to units that were used with materials other than water.
- Can I back up this unit?
We do not recommend using the unit in reverse except when necessary. The towbar was not designed to handle the weight of a full roller in reverse.
Lawn Sprayers
- What type of pump is on the sprayer?
This sprayer uses a 12 Volt Flojet diaphragm pump. 5.0 GPM
- What is the length of the wand chord?
The full length of the wand is 15″ with 8-foot self-retracting hose.
- My pump runs but is not pumping out water. What can I do to troubleshoot?
There are a few steps that can be taken to test your pump/motor. To test that your pump/motor is not the issue you may jump the harness. When doing so, you may check to see if it has suction. Do not leave anything on the suction end of the pump as this can cause the pump to burn out. Additionally, check the strainer for blockage.
- I am having trouble with the manuals' assembly instructions, is there an assembly video?
Yes, Spyker offers assembly help in the form of manuals, videos, and over the phone assistance. To watch the assembly video, please select your model’s product page and click the red assembly box or visit our YouTube channel.
- How should I store this unit when not in use?
First, promptly and thoroughly clean the unit. In three separate rinses -using a minimum of 2 gallons (7.6 L) for each rinse. Second, please use the cleaners and neutralizers as recommended for the last rinse.
- Does Spyker make a boom for other sprayers?
No, at this time, Spyker does not make a boom for other sprayers.
- Can you use this unit for hydroseeding?
No, this unit is not capable of use for hydroseeding.
- Can I run the boom and the wand at the same time?
No, it is not possible to run the boom and the wand at the same time.
- Can I control which nozzles I use on that boom? Is it possible to use one of the two nozzles
Yes, each nozzle can be turned off individually.
