I hope you can explain more on the spreader “dial setting”. A lot of different product reviews discuss bucket size, weight, , frame wheels, but one of the most important features is the “dial setting” !! I know its a round dial and its below under the bucket but almost sounds inconvenient to adjust while on the job. Handle height would would have been convenient.
If I bought Lesco fertilizer or Scotts would Spyker be recognized by these manufactures so the consumer knows what dial setting to adjust the spreader to for the fertilizer?
Thank you for your comment and reaching out. In response to your questions, The dial is located on the back of the hopper, not below so it is fairly easy to adjust however you would need to stop, close the hopper and adjust your setting. It is not something you can adjust “on the fly”. For the question about the dial setting, Spyker settings are listed on most but not all fertilizers/seed. If a Spyker setting is not listed on the bag, we have setting available in our spreader manual!
