Our heavy-duty, commercial electric spreader is ideal for today's commercial lawn and turf professional. This electric spreader features a 12 volt DC motor surrounded between durable stainless steel tubing. The motor is mounted outside of the hopper to allow more material capacity, therefore, helping you get the job done quicker with less refills. To make for more hopper room, take advantage of the hopper extension to 220 lbs of material (Note: Please see manual for which vehicles allow the hopper extension). This electric spreader comes standard with the Variable Speed Control—mounted conveniently within arms reach—which controls the amount of coverage area of the spread. Also, the gate control is operated by the foot pedal from the seat of a ZTR, otherwise, the 8 foot cable gate control (Optional) is utilized for a UTV or ATV. The length of wiring from the variable speed controller to the motor is 160” (13.3 feet), and the length of wiring from the variable speed controller to the battery is 80” (6.7 feet).
